Customer Challenge

The customer has cold chain assets, such as, in retail, manufacturing & pharmaceuticals, and need monitoring of sensitive and perishable items, such as, food, meat, medicines, in their cold storages and other moisture sensitive storage equipment. Also, they wanted to ensure a safe and healthy environment for their staff and conform to their regulatory requirements through the maintenance of target temparature levels required by the stored goods. They are looking to reduce costs by automatically preventatively maintain the regulated temparature levels to ensure suitable goods condition and prevent loss of goods incurred through manual or scheduled maintenance.

Solution 

The solution includes sensors and secure IoT gateways with pre-built connectivity that are able to monitor the condition of goods in real-time based on temperature, humidity, moisture, light, door status of the fridges and freezers. The solution is able to monitor the CO2 levels and air quality levels inside the building as well. Alerts & alarms on abnormal condition detection are raised and send to the designated staff to take any mitigation action.
