Business Need

The Company produces steel, plastic and fibre drums, intermediate bulk containers & reconditioned containers amongst other things. 

They had a need to track their containers in real time as these moved between their global manufacturing locations in the US and Europe.

Solution 

The solution can track these bulk containers on a map and also allowed a very easy way of drawing geo-fence using GUI so that in case a container left or entered this geo-fence, the system will immediately send an alert to the supply chain manager.

The supply chain manager was able to significantly improve operational performance by having real time knowledge of the Containers and the condition of the items being shipped.
